"Driving in northern New Mexico towards Santa Fe brings a unique desert landscape of lush, mossy greenery and thousands of acres of wilderness," she says. Carolyn discovered that the snakeskin jasper gemstone, with its depth and texture of mossy green color, replicates the vibrant shades found in the Santa Fe desert landscape. Oxidized sterling silver beads accentuate the charcoal lines running through the jasper.
