| The sultry sun as it sets in the Santa Fe Desert – casting a vibrant yet calming radiance. Designer Carolyn Pollack muses on the sensual scene, "From the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, the skies above Santa Fe glow in fiery shades of orange and rich purple." Traditional images of life in the American Southwest are captured in this collection – cactus flowers, rope detail, Concho-belt scalloping – all weave a tale of days gone by on the Old Santa Fe Trail. |
| The foundation for Santa Fe Sunset begins with, highly wearable Sterling Silver, Copper, and Brass. From there, add a complete desert-sky palette of Natural Gemstone beads of varying shapes and scale. Mix in complimentary designer beads of diverse Metal Alloys for enhancement. The Santa Fe Sunset design takes core elements - rope detailing, pottery, and carved architectural images –and incorporates them into refined design. |
• .925 sterling silver jewelry is a combination of 92.5% silver and usually 7.5% copper, although the copper is sometimes replaced with another alloy or a combination of alloys. The hallmark of .925 sterling silver on a piece of jewelry ensures the highest quality of silver. • Long thought to promote healing, this copper is beautiful by itself, but what you might not know is that there's actually a small amount of copper in just about every piece of jewelry for strength and durability. Its warmth resembles that of Rose Gold, but its beauty comes at a much more affordable price. • Brass, similar to gold in its appearance, brass is the metal of choice for many a fine piece of jewelry – especially those given to a more intricate design. Its golden yellow luster has been turning heads since Roman times, and because it contains 50% copper and zinc, brass is also highly wear-resistant. • Citrine the modern birthstone for November, embodies a symbol of peace, wisdom, and happiness. You can actually find it in a range of colors from tones of amber to bright yellow. • Amethyst, persuasive purple hues of February's birthstone exude tranquility and spirituality. • Orange Carnelian, known for energizing the spirit and motivating the mind, gets you back on the brighter side when feeling low. Rich Carnelian captivates in colors ranging from orange-red to orange-brown. • Charoite, the swirling shades of lavender and violet from the desert sky after a rainstorm, and infuse them with the white, gray, and black veining of the clouds, it would be called Charoite. This rare-occurring gemstone is believed to ground the spiritual self, aid in decision-making. • Red Sponge Coral, this scarlet treasure from the sea is actually porous like a sponge when polished to perfection. Today, it is said to provide protection and restore harmony. |
