Southwestern Traditional Silver and Orange Spiny Pendant
Framed in antiqued sterling silver, punched like an antique punch tin frame sits an oval orange spiny oyster shell cabochon. The sterling frame is decorated with the sunray symbol, a symbol of constancy and the mountains symbolizing abundance. Orange spiny has been used in Southwestern jewelry since prehistoric times, as a base for intricate inlay. Shells symbolize the life that flourished in the mystical oceans, far away from the desert southwest. Pendant measures 2 inches L x 1 1/4 inch W, with medium bail fitting beads up to 9mm. Made in New Mexico, USA. Save 56%!
