| Motor west on Route 66 and get your kicks with our nostalgic Designer Diner sterling silver and gemstone jewelry collection. Brightly colored gemstones like turquoise, peridot, coral, and amethyst capture the retro colors of highway-side diners and vintage hotel signs along historic Route 66. What can be more American than a nostalgic trip on the open road through the great Old West! |
The retro-colored gemstones appear in a variety of vintage-inspired jewelry designs. Open design pendants showcase detailed flora and fauna filigree work, or Spanish lace as its known in the Southwest. Brightly colored flowers are a traditional part of any festive occasion in Spain, Mexico, and the Southwest – a fitting symbol for a celebration of Route 66 and America's spirit of adventure.
Faceted gemstones catch the light and shine against high polished sterling silver. Marquis-shaped stones provide bold, chunks of color in earrings, pendants, and rings. Intricate, hand-strung beaded jewelry pieces round out the Designer Diner collection with strands of vibrant color.

• Salmon bamboo coral is believed to bring luck when used as an ornament in the home and is also said to protect children from harm. Bamboo coral generates positive change in one's life and quiets the emotions while protecting and strengthening one's emotional foundation. Bamboo coral deposits are found along the coasts of the Western Mediterranean countries, Red Sea, Bay of Biscay, Canary Islands, Malaysian Archipelago, the Midway Islands, Japan, and Hawaii.
• Southwesterners prized turquoise, the heart of Southwestern tradition, as currency, as a talisman of good health, and most importantly as beautiful jewelry. Known as the modern birthstone for December, turquoise heals and promotes spiritual attunement. It attracts abundance and prosperity. Several Southwestern states celebrate turquoise as their state stone: Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada.
• Best known as the modern birthstone for August, peridot, which comes from the U.S. where it's mined in Arizona, Brazil, Egypt, Ireland, and Russia, symbolizes prosperity, growth, and openness, alleviating depression, anger, fear, jealousy, and anxiety. Peridot is believed to strengthen the heart, lungs, spleen, intestinal tract, ulcers, and eyes.
• The warm purple hues of February's birthstone, amethyst, exude tranquility and spirituality. The most important deposits are found in Brazil but amethyst can also be found in the U.S. where it's celebrated as the state stone of Georgia and South Carolina.
• Found in Namibia, Britain, and Spain, aragonite centers and grounds while aiding concentration, discipline, and patience. It warms the extremities, overcoming chills and twitches. Aragonite also strengthens the immune system, healing bones, aiding calcium absorption, and restoring elasticity to disks. |
